In addition to these [Take Back Day](https://takebackday.dea.gov/?ref=theunredacted.co) locations, search Google Maps for ["medication disposal near me"](https://www.google.com/maps/search/medication+disposal+near+me/?ref=theunredacted.co) to see pharmacies, hospitals, police stations, and other locations that accept medication for disposal year-round. If you still can't find a location, there are other options to remove such medications from your home such as mail-back programs or following [FDA instructions](https://www.fda.gov/drugs/safe-disposal-medicines/disposal-unused-medicines-what-you-should-know?ref=theunredacted.co).
