Sourcing. Our reporting draws on public records: tax filings, campaign finance disclosures, corporate registrations, court documents, social media archives, and published statements. Links and citations are provided wherever possible. We report what the documents show.

AI disclosure. The Unredacted uses artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, drafting, editing, formatting, and image generation. All published material is directed, reviewed, and approved by a human editor. AI is a tool in this workshop, not the craftsman. Responsibility for editorial decisions rests with the editor, not the software.

Satire notice. Certain clearly labeled pieces on this site are satire or parody. Satirical content is marked with the tag [SATIRE] and should not be read as factual reporting. If a piece carries that tag, it is commentary in the tradition of political satire, and any resemblance to actual events is the point of the joke, not a news claim.

Accuracy and corrections. We aim to get it right. If we get something materially wrong, we correct it and note the correction. The Unredacted is a platform for opinion, commentary, and creative storytelling. While our work is inspired by real events, public figures, and actual documents, the presentation is framed through a specific narrative lens.

• Not Traditional Journalism: We do not claim to be an impartial news organization. We are storytellers and analysts.
• Speculative Nature: Some content, particularly regarding future scenarios or "what-if" analyses, is speculative in nature.
• Satire & Parody: Elements of this site utilize hyperbole, satire, and parody to make social and political points.
• Opinion: All views expressed are those of the individual authors/creators and do not represent a statement of absolute fact.

2. The Ghost in the Machine (AI Disclosure)

We believe in total transparency regarding our tools. The Unredacted unapologetically utilizes Artificial Intelligence in our creative workflow.

• AI-Assisted Writing: We use LLMs (Large Language Models) to assist in editing, drafting, and structuring our narratives.
• Synthetic Media: Images, illustrations, and videos on this site may be generated or enhanced by AI (Midjourney, Runway, etc.).
• The Human Element: While machines help us scale, the editorial direction, the investigation, and the "soul" of the story are 100% human. We curate the code; the code does not curate us.
