1. The Dossier (What We Collect)

We believe in data minimization. We only collect what is strictly necessary to maintain your clearance level (subscription):

• Email Address: Used solely to deliver the newsletter and verify your login.
• Name: Whatever alias or real name you provide upon sign-up.
• Engagement Data: We track open rates and link clicks to understand which investigations resonate. We do not track you across the web.

2. The Vault (Payments)

We do not store your financial data.

• Stripe: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. The Unredacted never sees your credit card number. We only see your subscription status (Active/Past Due).

3. Cookies & Tracking

• Session Cookies: We use essential cookies only to keep you logged in to the website.
• No Third-Party Ad Tracking: We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party agencies. We are funded by you, so we don't need to sell you.

4. Third-Party Intelligence

We utilize the Ghost platform to host this publication. Ghost is a non-profit organization dedicated to privacy and independent publishing. You can view their stance on data here.

5. Your Rights

You own your data. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the footer of any email. If you wish to have your account completely scrubbed from our servers, reply to any newsletter with "Redact Me," and we will delete your record permanently.
