"Silicon Valley's Tech Wifes": How Elite Philanthropy Built the Great Reset's Hidden Infrastructure

Nicole Shanahan didn’t just glimpse the machine. She oiled it. As ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, she signed off on nine-figure checks through the Sergey Brin Family Foundation and her own Bia-Echo Foundation, targeting criminal justice “reform,” indigenous “uplift,” and reproductive “equity.”

She jetted to Davos parties, rubbed elbows with Hollywood fixers, and believed every penny lifted Black and Brown communities from oppression. Then she tallied the score: crime rates spiked, mental health cratered, and the “helped” neighborhoods looked more like war zones than success stories. “The whole model is broken,” she confessed in a raw March 2025 interview on BlazeTV’s Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey. “We were the useful idiots.”¹

What Shanahan calls the “tech wife mafia”—a sorority of Silicon Valley spouses like Priscilla Chan (Mark Zuckerberg’s wife), Lauren Powell Jobs (Steve Jobs’ widow), and Mackenzie Scott (Jeff Bezos’ ex)—didn’t stumble into this. We uncovered a web of interlocking foundations, NGO cutouts, and Davos backrooms where their billions were laundered into the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Great Reset blueprint.

This wasn’t charity. It was infrastructure for a silent coup: shifting sovereignty from voters to unelected technocrats, corporations, and globalist NGOs. And it started long before Klaus Schwab’s 2020 sales pitch.

We traced the money first, as always. Shanahan’s Bia-Echo, seeded with $23 million in noncash assets from Brin in 2019, has pledged $100 million to “progressive” causes.² Its 2019 grants alone: $5 million to the left-leaning Silicon Valley Community Foundation, $1 million to the Full Circle Fund (a Bay Area equity slush fund), $500,000 each to the Edward Charles Foundation and Good Films Impact (Hollywood-tied “impact” producers), and $400,000 to Planet Labs (satellite surveillance for “climate monitoring”).³

Chloe Cockburn, Bia-Echo’s director and a board member, came straight from Open Philanthropy—the grantmaking arm of Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz and his wife Cari Tuna, who pump hundreds of millions into criminal justice activism and “effective altruism” that smells more like regime change than relief.⁴

This isn’t isolated. Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective has funneled over $1 billion into immigration NGOs and “narrative change” outfits that echo WEF talking points on borderless labor markets.⁵ Chan’s Chan Zuckerberg Initiative? $3 billion pledged to education “equity”—code for union bailouts and DEI pipelines that churn out compliant workers for Big Tech’s surveillance state.⁶

Scott? She’s scattered $14 billion since 2019 to 1,600+ recipients, including climate hysteria groups like the Sierra Club and “racial reckoning” funds that spiked after 2020 riots.⁷ Follow the board interlocks: These foundations sit on the same tables as Rockefeller Foundation, Open Society (Soros), and Gates Foundation—WEF partners all, per internal Davos participant lists we pulled from archived WEF docs.⁸

The revolving door spins faster. Shanahan’s philanthropy mirrored Brin’s: Both backed the Tides Foundation, a left-wing pass-through that InfluenceWatch dubs a “fiscal sponsor” for radical causes, laundering donor cash to avoid scrutiny.⁹ Tides has ties to WEF’s “Strategic Intelligence” platform, the same hub that mapped the Great Reset as a “spiderweb” of 200+ orgs in 2020—governments as “peripheral nodes,” elites at the core.¹⁰

FOIA dumps from the State Department reveal Silicon Valley foundations advising on “philanthropy diplomacy” since 2015, syncing U.S. aid with WEF’s sustainable development goals.¹¹ No coincidence that Bia-Echo’s “global climate equality” via regenerative agriculture aligns lockstep with Agenda 21, the UN blueprint Schwab calls the Reset’s godfather.¹²

Shanahan’s knife twist? These women, starved for purpose in gilded cages, chased validation through “philanthropic work.” Their worlds shrank to echo chambers: NGO advisors whispering about “systemic oppression,” Hollywood scripting the sob stories, Davos toasting the “impact.” “Social justice + climate change—it gets progressive women 100% of the time,” she said.¹³

Blind to the harvest: ESG scores that kneecap fossil fuels (hello, BlackRock’s $40 trillion proxy army), carbon taxes inflating energy bills, and DEI commissars policing speech in boardrooms. Communities? Worse off. Chicago’s homicide rate jumped 50% post-2020 “reform” grants; indigenous lands grabbed for “green” solar farms.¹⁴

Now, the historical venom: This playbook predates Shanahan’s awakening by decades. Schwab’s “stakeholder capitalism”—the Reset’s chassis—wasn’t born in 2020. It hatched in his 1971 book Modern Enterprise Management, where he railed against shareholder primacy as “neoliberal poison.”¹⁵

Dig to 1972: Club of Rome’s Limits to Growth warned of “planetary collapse” by 2100 unless elites seized the reins—presented by Aurelio Peccei at Schwab’s first Davos in 1973.¹⁶

Fast-forward to 1992: Maurice Strong, WEF board alum and Rio Earth Summit architect, greenlit Agenda 21, embedding philanthropy as the “soft power” for global governance.¹⁷ These weren’t quotes from dusty tomes; they were blueprints, declassified in UN cables showing Strong’s Rockefeller ties funding NGO infiltration of U.S. policy.¹⁸
