AIPAC The Lie That Loads the Gun

A man was indicted this week for trying to murder Jews he had never met. He is not an outlier. He is the latest name on a list that already includes the dead, and almost every man on it learned to hate the same way: from a lie on a screen that says Jews are the enemy. This week NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani calls AIPAC a "monster" that "moves dark money."

On Thursday the Justice Department indicted Forrest Kendall Pemberton, 27, of Gainesville, for an attempted mass shooting targeting Jewish victims because of their race and religion. He armed himself with an AR-15 fitted with a silencer, drove to the office of a AIPAC, a nonprofit that lobbies for Israel, and allegedly tried to walk in and murder the Jews inside because they were Jews. He had never met one of them. The office had even moved. He was not hunting people who had wronged him. He was hunting a category. He faces life in prison.

Do not file this under "a disturbed loner." File it under the only heading that fits, which is the one nobody in polite company wants to write down: there is a campaign underway to murder Jews, it is being waged by men who do not know each other, and what they share is not an organization but an education. They were taught, each in front of his own screen, the same thing. That Jews are powerful, that powerful means guilty, and that killing them is not murder but justice. Pemberton is not the start of that list. He is just the most recent name on it.

On June 1 of last year in Boulder, Colorado, a man hurled Molotov cocktails into a peaceful march for the Israeli hostages, burning more than a dozen people; an 82-year-old Holocaust survivor later died. He told police he wanted to kill, in his words, every Zionist, and that he had found the march through an online search. Six months later, on the first night of Hanukkah, two gunmen opened fire on a thousand Jews celebrating on Sydney's Bondi Beach. Sixteen people died, including a child. These are not plots that almost happened. These are funerals that did.

The Shepherd: Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, DACA Recipient, Planned the White House Attack
He came to the United States on a tourist visa in 2001, was granted DACA protection in 2014, and spent June 14, 2026 under arrest in Omaha while drones he helped plan never reached the South Lawn. His name is Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez. His alias was Shepherd. He was the ringleader.

Now set the foiled cases against that backdrop and see them for what they are. In June, prosecutors charged five men, part of a network investigators put at more than twenty, in a plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House grounds with explosive drones and snipers. According to the filings, they built a target list of 46 names using a website called TrackAIPAC.com, picking lawmakers they believed had taken money from pro-Israel PACs. That is the machinery laid bare. A man with a grievance and a browser no longer needs a recruiter or a manifesto. He opens a database that sorts American officials by their nearness to Jewish money, and it hands him a kill list, already organized by the exact conspiracy running in his head.

Pemberton ran the same program with no website at all. The Boulder attacker found his target with a search bar. The Bondi killers had their own version of the same instruction. None of them needed to meet a Jew or read a book. The lie was already installed, and the lie is always the same one: that Jewish money secretly steers the world, that the politicians are bought, that behind every grievance is a hidden Jewish hand. It is older than any of us. What is new is the delivery. It now travels with a search-engine budget and a respectable vocabulary, repeated by people who would be insulted to be called bigots, until an ordinary angry man absorbs it without ever feeling he joined anything. He simply knows the Jews are the problem. Then he goes looking for an address.

A Parent Read the Group Chat. The Rest Is History That Didn’t Happen.
Twenty-three people planned to blow up the White House, shoot the crowd, and storm the gate. A mom or dad stopped them. Five are in federal custody. Nobody got hurt. The kill list included politicians who took Jewish money. The press will not ask where that idea came from.

And notice what the lie never touches. Qatari money flooding American universities. Chinese united-front networks. The IRGC. Russian active measures, documented and indicted by the very governments these men imagine are Jewish puppets. None of it produces a website ranking congressmen by their handler. None of it sends a man to a beach with a rifle or a march with a firebomb. The fixation lands on one country, one lobby, one people, every single time, which is the oldest tell there is. This was never about foreign influence. It was about Jews, and everything else is the costume the hatred wears to get through the door.

So hear the warning plainly. People are being talked into killing Jews by lies they find on a screen, and some of them have already succeeded. The men who failed failed for reasons that will not hold: in Boulder he could not buy a gun, in Florida and Ohio a father and a mother each saw their son turning into something and made the hardest phone call a parent can make. We will not always be that lucky, and the dead at Bondi are proof that sometimes we are not lucky at all. The defense that works does not begin at the metal detector. It begins at the lie. Name it out loud. Refuse to let it pass as analysis. Say something the moment you watch it take hold in someone.

The gun is the last step. The lie is the first, and the first step is the only one we can still stop.
